This spring we will be doing a six-week sermon series entitled “The Refiner’s Fire: God’s Love for Faithless People in the Book of Malachi.” As we anticipate the celebration of Easter this spring, we will take time to reflect on the book of Malachi, which anticipates Christ’s coming so powerfully.
Not only does Malachi anticipate the coming of Jesus Christ, but his ministry had much in common with that of Jesus. Both Jesus and Malachi spoke forcefully about the need to know and obey God’s Word, while also pointing to the hope we have in God’s grace.
If you have missed any sermons in this series, you can download the audio from our Sermons Page.
If you would like to follow along with the sermons using our Malachi Sermon Series Study Guide, click here. (Hard copies of the study guide will be available at church for the duration of the sermon series.)
Special thanks to Mary Peters for the artwork for this sermon series!
